I suggest you come and hunt the cuffed sheep, an animal from the North African Atlas, which was introduced into the Sierra Espuña in the early 1970s. Over the years, its presence has spread to the provinces of Alicante and Murcia. Considered as a mountain goat, it is part of the Ovis Grand Slam.

- It is an animal of high stature : an adult male can measure nearly one meter at the withers and weigh up to 140 kg,
- Its biotope is found in the natural limestone mountains and canyons found in both the provinces of Alicante and Murcia,
- The hooded sheep hunt is a high mountain hunt, but during the hottest periods (early fall and summer), it is hunted approaching in the morning and then on the lookout at the end of the day,
- Hunting grounds are adapted to all types of physical conditions,
- The density of animals is high and, combined with the many accesses and paths, the guides easily locate the mouflons and we can almost guarantee a successful hunting stay,
- The average trophy is 60 to 65 centimetres for a male and 40 centimetres for a female.
