Hunting mouflon on approach is the most interesting thing it is because of its difficulty. It is a magnificent and extremely suspicious animal that flees at the slightest doubt. It is essential to approach the animals with finesse and great patience before pulling the animal into the perfect position. These territories are located in the Gorges du Tarn (600 and 900 metres above sea level), in Ariège (up to 2000 metres) and in the Hautes Pyrénées (up to 1200 metres). Animals move between full and dry lawn plateaus or vegetation and cliffs give them the opportunity to hide. On these territories there is a large population of mouflon where all age groups are represented.
